This is My Country, Land that I Love

This blog has changed from a family blog to something that is near and dear to my heart. This is about what is happening to America and what we have to look forward to in the future. I become more afraid with each passing day. I will keep posts about how the new government is changing my life each day. Good or bad, this is how I see it.

Our current government not only wants to redistribute the wealth in America but throughout the world. All the money that the government has borrowed in our name is not necessarily going to Americans. That's great. We're going down the tubes, and they are going to send money that we don't have abroad to some countries that are not "friends" with the US. Yeah, that makes sense.
I'm afraid to buy anything, because I think that I will be losing all of it in the next four years. I am just so surprised that so many of my fellow Americans, think that things will be better for all of us. How can the government taking money from those that work so hard all their lives and giving it to people that don't work or even want to work. Why would anyone keep working so that others can lay around and reap benefits that they do not deserve.
The government is using "scare" tactics to get these bills passed. Trust me. My retirement from the state of Oklahoma would put me at the poverty level, so I have another job. The government is deciding that I need to help others by giving part of this money, and I am not sure how much they are going to take as yet. I don't quite live from paycheck to paycheck, but it is because I am fairly frugal with my money. I help my parents out and give to charities here and abroad. It's not a lot, but I don't have a lot of money. It's not that I don't care about others. I just think that we are not doing anyone any favors if we just give them money but don't give them their dignity.
If we give money to the poor, we should also encourage them to go to any kind of school to better educate them so that they can eventually take care of themselves. All they need is some encouragement and someone to help guide them in a better direction.
Liberals say that we are racist. What? I taught school in the 70's during integration. I worked in a school that had about 30% minorities. I loved these kids and had such a great time during those years. My kids would tell me which teachers didn't like them, and they were always right on. Most of these teachers were older and had grown up in a different era. Racist? Not me. I now work for the Cherokee Nation. So that is just a bunch of crap.
Our current government is wanting to allow all illegal aliens the vote and then give them free insurance benefits, free schooling, etc. For this, all they have to do is keep voting this party into office, and they keep getting a free ride. Meanwhile, we will not be able to give our children the things that we would like. I will not be able to help my mom and dad. I would love to retire and not work, but that is just not a possibility. Plus, I love being out and interacting with people, "all people". I treat all that I meet with dignity and respect.
That's all for this evening. God Bless America.
